To all my dear friends, fellow dreamers, and collectors—welcome back behind the curtains of Maryna’s Magic World! Today, the studio is quiet, save for the gentle hum of creation, and I am so excited to share the very first steps of a special new journey with you.

There is something truly captivating about working in miniature. Right now, on my workbench, a new custom commission is beginning to take shape: a tiny porcelain soul who will stand just 27 centimeters tall—a delicate little being sculpted to fit right into the palm of your hand.

In the Studio: From Liquid Clay to Soulful Art

For this piece, I am working with the mold of my mini Cinderella, a face that holds so much sweetness and grace. But every commission carries its own unique heartbeat. My collector shared a special wish for this piece: to give her slightly larger, more luminous eyes to reveal even more of her tender inner world and soul.

Sculpting those subtle changes is where the magic truly lives. A fraction of a millimeter in the eye opening transforms an entire expression, inviting you to look deeper into her story.

The Magic Begins

This week mark the very beginning of her physical journey:

• Liquid Clay & Molds: I am pouring the fine slip into her small molds, carefully feeling the balance of liquid porcelain as it sets.

• Whispers of Character: As the raw pieces dry, I’ll begin refining her features and hand-carving the expanded eye contours to match the collector's dream.

• Preparing for the Fire: Soon, these delicate pieces will enter the intense heat of the kiln, emerging smooth, strong, and ready for fine china paint and life.

It is always such a joy to watch a raw idea transform step-by-step into a living piece of art. Seeing a new soul slowly awaken on my workbench never loses its wonder, and I cannot wait to bring you along for every step of her creation.
